Ken stepped into the financial services industry in 1983, working in sales management for Combined Insurance. He then became an agent and advisor for New York Life, but he wasn’t done yet. In 1995, Ken founded his own business helping clients with insurance and investment planning, and in 2006 earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

Ken enjoys investing time to get to know his clients, their families, their dreams and their concerns, so he can craft a customized plan that helps get them where they want to be, when they want to be there.

Ken practices with an honest and straightforward approach. He strives to make the complex simple by breaking down concepts and situations for his clients.

He believes that staying invested through the ups and downs is one of the keys to long-term investing success. His client plans consider how much volatility in the market you can handle, and then he adjusts, as necessary.

Ken will be your financial coach and help keep you on the path that leads toward your financial goals.

Ken was raised and has spent most of his life in Yakima, raising his two sons who now reside in Florida. Florida is fast becoming one of his favorite places to visit, especially the beautiful Florida Keys.

Ken spent 22 years in the United States Junior Chamber, also known as Jaycees, where he held many offices, both local and state.

While his boys were in Scouting from the time they were Tiger Cubs until they both became Eagle Scouts, he was an active Pack Master and Committee chairman.

Ken was an avid softball player who is now trying to improve his golf game and participates in a men’s league in the summer. His other interests include photography, fishing, wine tasting, grilling and BBQ – one of his favorite dinners is a smoked ribeye that melts in your mouth with caramelized mushrooms and grilled asparagus complimented by a nice glass of red wine from Ken’s Bar & Grill.

Ken's bucket list:
